Strange Tourist
Ramsgate-based artist Paul Atkins’ new exhibition Lost Celestial Worlds will be showing at Projects Kavel Rafferty in Margate from Wednesday until July 28.
A peer-led space to share and explore grief, bereavement and loss, Margate Death Cafe launches at The Perfect Place to Grow in Cliftonville on Wednesday. Free tickets.

First Milk is the first group exhibition at new Cliftonville art space, The Romantic of Margate. Opening on Friday with a launch party 6-9pm and running until August 9.
Love a singalong? Rockaoke is coming to Where Else in Margate on Friday. That’s Karaoke with a full live band. Tickets £9.
Ramsgate Carnival & Fair is set to take place on Saturday and Sunday. The event will see a parade snake through the town. More info.
Broadstairs Summer Fair is set to take place from Saturday to Wednesday, July 29 at Victoria Gardens, featuring a fun fair and local craft stalls. This will act as a precursor to the Broadstairs Water Gala and fireworks display on July 29.
This year’s Northdown Road Shops Block Party takes place on Saturday. There will be discounts, offers, music and more across shops all down the road.
Foliage in Broadstairs will be hosting a succulent dish workshop on Saturday. Make your own soil mix and plant a selection of delightfully easy to care for plants in a ceramic dish. Places £45. Call 07907500611 to book.
Changeling Theatre will be staging Shakespeare’s Much Ado About Nothing on Margate Main Sands on Saturday. Tickets £22.
The Bradstow Singers and Bradstow Symphony Orchestra will be performing live at Holy Trinity Church in Broadstairs on Sunday. Tickets £12.
Award-winning writer Caroline Druitt hosts the first of four creative writing workshops themed on the seasons at Turner Contemporary on Sunday. Tickets £20.
