Ramsgate yoga studio Union hosts Margate Mushrooms founder Darryn De La Soul for an evening of lion’s mane and shiitake on Wednesday from 6.30pm to 8.30pm. Tickets £10.
The Margate Bookshop puts on Letters to My Younger Queer Self with Daniel Harding, on Thursday at CAMP. Free tickets.
Irish post-rock duo A Burial at Sea will be heading to Ramsgate Music Hall on Thursday. Tickets £17.50.
Cirque Du Mar-Gay will be putting on a night of circus performance at Faith in Strangers on Thursday. Tickets £10.
Gorillaz open a new exhibition chronicling their 25 years together at East London’s Copper Box on Friday, running until September 3. Tickets from £25.
Local sound artist Yuri Suzuki opens a new installation called UTOOTO at Camden Arts Projects in London on Friday, exploring sound, utopia, and collective imagination.
Broadstairs Folk Week’s 60th anniversary edition begins on Friday and will run until August 15. See the full programme.

Local radio station Academy FM will be hosting its annual barbecue at the Racing Greyhound pub in Ramsgate on Saturday from 2-5pm. Free entry.
