New live performance festival Gotta Get Thru This takes place in venues around Margate from Monday until Sunday, April 19. There will be audio installations, poetry in a sauna, prop fixing, a day of family shows, rave-theatre hybrid, live illustrations and more. Most events are free. See the full programme.

Thanet’s most stupid (in a great way) quiz returns this month. Full of chaos, dress ups, drag and drawing tasks, Quizania, hosted by Mr Teds Walker lands in Ramsgate on Tuesday at the Horse & Groom, Margate Beach Club on Wednesday, and Broadstairs on Thursday at Neptunes Hall. £3 per player, max 6 per team, quiz from 8pm. Drink & Draw launches downstairs at the Bedford Inn in Ramsgate on Thursday with a classic still life class. All abilities are welcome. Tickets £14.
