Get out and about in Margate, Ramsgate and Broadstairs this week with live music, an art trail, laughter yoga and more

There's lots to do and see in Thanet this week, including live music, spoken word, whisky tasting, the Off Season art trail and more.

Banish those beginning of the week blues with a laughter yoga session at HOLD Creative Spaces in Ramsgate at 9am on Monday. Tickets £6

Rosslyn Court in Cliftonville is putting on a Burns Night show on Thursday. It’s sold out, but you can stream the first hour of performances while tucking into a haggis at home. More details

Spoken word night Is It Dirty? Returns to the Roland Ross gallery in Cliftonville on Thursday. Performers include Nell Osborne, Alex Keramidas, William Doyle, and Samuel George. Free Entry. 

The Off Season art trail returns to Margate from Friday to Saturday with art on display in over 150 venues around the town, plus a programme of evening events. See the full programme

Margate Radio will take over the Turner Contemporary for its second Turner Lates night on Friday. There will be music, drawing, food and more spread around the gallery, plus an after party at Hoffs. Full details

Ren Harvieu and The Magic Numbers’ Romeo Stodart will be performing together at Ramsgate Music Hall on Friday. Tickets £22.50.

The Kent Whisky Explorers night is back at Little Swift in Margate on Friday, taking a tour of Scotland’s independent distilleries ahead of Burns’ Night. Tickets £30 (including £5 donation to Movember). Email kentwhiskyexplorers@gmail.com to book.
