“Lo-fi social space and lifestyle store” Lowlife on Northdown Road in Cliftonville will officially open its doors on Monday.

Poet Raymond Antrobus is in conversation with Harry Baker at the Fort Road Hotel in Margate on Monday, marking the publication of his new book The Quiet Ear. Free tickets.

First Friday at Marine Studios will this month host Dan Thompson’s Seaside History Club with an evening on shipwrecks. Free entry.

Max Richter marks the tenth anniversary of his eight hour SLEEP concept album with two overnight performances at Alexandra Palace on Friday and Saturday. Tickets £223.71, including bed, bedding and a light breakfast.

The first Broadstairs Pride takes place on Sunday, beginning on the prom at 11.30am before moving to The Pavillion where there will be speeches, performances, a market and music. 

The Greenwich+Docklands International Festival’s ‘festival within a festival’ Dancing City offers free dance performances around Stratford Town Centre and Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in London on Saturday. See the full programme.  

Brighter Days Market returns to the Turner Contemporary in Margate on Saturday and Sunday with stalls featuring high quality handmade crafts, including homewares, accessories, jewellery, and prints.

The Detling Showground Antiques and Vintage Fair returns on Saturday and Sunday. There will be over 400+ stalls to peruse. Entry from £5. 

Updown Farmhouse’s English Wine Festival takes place on Sunday. Tickets from £35.
