The first edition of the new monthly Synth Club for electronic music makers takes place at This Museum Is (Not) Obsolete in Ramsgate takes place on Wednesday. £5 entry. 

The Bottleneck in Broadstairs is hosting an English Wine Tasting with winemaker Gusborne on Wednesday. Tickets £40

Charly Clive and Ellen Robertson - aka comedy double act Britney - will be performing a work in progress sketch show at CAMP in Cliftonville on Wednesday. Tickets £12

Rosa Rankin-Gee will be at Margate Library to discuss her book Dreamland and its upcoming BBC adaptation on Wednesday. Free entry. Then on Thursday, she will be discussing her new book My Only Boy at Fort Road Hotel. Free tickets

Eccentric one-man band Ichi will play Ramsgate Music Hall on Thursday. Tickets £17.50

Spoken word night Is It Dirty? returns to the Roland Ross gallery in Cliftonville on Thursday. Free entry. 

After seven years away, the Lovebox festival is back and it’s coming to Margate, taking place at Dreamland on Friday and Saturday, headlined by Rudimental and Scissor Sisters. Tickets from £64.10.

Having closed for the winter last October, Justine’s in Margate will officially reopen with a big party on Friday. Tickets £10.

The next Addington Street Vintage Trail will take place on Saturday and Sunday. Head down 11am to 5pm.

New family pop-up market Turn the Tide will launch at Margate’s Turner Contemporary on Saturday and Sunday, featuring ethical kidswear brands, local artists and craft-makers.
