The clocks have gone back, the nights are drawing in. As it gets colder (not that it seems it really is but I'm trying to set a scene here, people), there is little left to do but hunker down by the fire in a pub, swirl a glass of red wine and discuss potato quality.
Yes, roast season is here. Actually, we're several roasts in at this point but who's counting? It's time to get out there and continue the never ending search for the best one. This is 100% my favourite thing about winter. So, in that spirit, this week's feature is a list of where we reckon you'll find the best roasts in Thanet and further out into East Kent.
We've also been scouting out the latest news and things to do in Margate, Ramsgate and Broadstairs. As usual, we were spoilt for choice. It's such a joy to discover all of these events each week - we hope you feel the same.
