The Writing in Progress new writing night is on at Off Licence in Cliftonville on Wednesday. Free entry.
The Happy Mondays will perform at Dreamland in Margate on Thursday, joined by The Farm and Northside, recreating the line up of their legendary 1991 show at Elland Road in Leeds. Tickets £42.50.
Wild Life Drawing returns to the Fort Road Hotel in Margate on Thursday. Modelling this time will be a group of rescued reptiles - snakes, lizards, and tortoises. Tickets £35 with a 10% donation to animal charity Happy Endings Rescue.

Author Francesca Wade will be discussing biography and a “literary detective story” Gertrude Stein: An Afterlife at CAMP in Cliftonville on Thursday. Free tickets.
Floating Frequencies hosts a multi-instrumental sound bath at Bleak House in Broadstairs at 11am on Friday. Tickets £25.
Cockles and Muscles’ annual Spring Bonnet Party at Margate Arts Club on Friday. DJing will be Dani St James, Cookie Man and Amy Zing, and there will be drag performances from Father JC, Symone, The Deity, Shelly Grotto and Janet District Council. Tickets £7.
Thanet Urban Forest leads a Hanami Tree Walk through Margate’s Dane Park on Saturday. Tickets from £4.
ARK in Cliftonville invites you to participatory dance show Feel The Beat on Saturday, with two performances at 11am and 7.30pm. Tickets £14.
Stevie Martin brings her show Clout to Canterbury’s Marlowe Theatre on Saturday. Tickets £22.

Drag artist Baby Lame will be performing Britney Spears themed show Hit Me Baby One More Lame at Ramsgate’s Alley Bar on Saturday. Tickets £15.
Steven Todd’s play about a bookshop, Goat. Book. Dad, will be performed - appropriately - in Ramsgate’s Plunder bookshop on Saturday. Tickets £10.
Bis! Bis! Bis! returns to Margate Arts Club on Saturday for its first outing of 2026. DJing will be Disco F**ks and Full Contact. Tickets £5.
