Reading is a wonderful thing and we've both been making a concerted effort to put down our phones and read more books this year. So far, steely determination is working pretty well.
Sometimes you need a deadline to push you through those pages thoug. A book club is a good way to give you that goal, and also gets you out of the house. Thanet is positively brimming with regular meet ups for book lovers, so for this week's feature we've rounded up as many of them as possible.
As well as that, we've got lots of news and things to do in Thanet and beyond, including what seems like a huge number of wine tastings - not least all of that many that will take place at part of LOW Margate next weekend.
