New poetry night WOSAPPNIN?! is set to launch at ARK in Cliftonville on Thursday, September 17. Hosted by Curly Wordy and Kareem Parkins-Brown, it will then take place on every third Thursday of the month. Free entry

Actual living legend David Rodigan is coming to the Drill Shed in Cliftonville on Saturday, December 12. Before a full DJ set, he will start the night talking through the stories behind the music and his almost 50 year career with an audience Q&A. Tickets £19.83.

Award-winning folk duo The Woodgies will be performing an intimate show at Ramsgate Music Hall on Saturday, February 13. Currently preparing for the release of their new EP, their latest single Caught in a Wave came out last month. Tickets £15.

Irish duo Morrissey and Marshall are set to return to the stage for the first time in six years at Ramsgate Music Hall on Saturday, September 12. Following two acclaimed albums, they went on hiatus in 2019. Now they’re back with new songs, which they’ll be testing out at this intimate show. Tickets £20

DJ TBX has announced a beginner DJ class for women over 30. Taking place in the basement at HOFFS in Margate on Wednesday, September 9, she’ll guide you through the basics of mixing and curating music. Everything you need will be provided. Tickets £100.
