Good Good Film Club will be screening a Christmas classic movie at Margate Arts Club on Wednesday, December 17. Which one? You won’t know until you get there. Fun! The only clues are that it’s a contemporary American comedy drama and contains some bad language and “a lot of smoking.” There will also be a screening of short comedy films and you can pre-order Casa pizza to have while you watch the main feature. Tickets £15 with pizza / £5 without.

Ocean Stefan is back with another movie night with a difference. The performance artist will screen Jurassic Park at Margate Arts Club on Tuesday, December 23. What’s the difference I alluded to? The sound will be muted and instead Ocean will attempt to create the entire soundtrack themselves using only their voice. Every piece of music, every dinosaur roar, all of the dialogue. Tickets £5

The Kent Whisky Explorers night is back at Little Swift in Margate on Friday, January 23. It will again be raising money for Movember - having raised over £1300 with two editions last month. Having guided attendees through whiskeys from all around the world, the January event will sample Scotland’s independent distilleries ahead of Burns’ Night. These always sell out well in advance, so don’t hang about. Tickets £30 (including £5 donation to Movember). Email kentwhiskyexplorers@gmail.com to book.
