Looking for something to do with the kids this Halloween? Well keep reading, because there’s absolutely loads going on and we’ve pulled all the best stuff together here. 

Whether your kids want to load up on sweets, see a spooky dog parade, dance in fancy dress, or channel all their Halloween energy into some arts and crafts, it’s all here. And more on top of that. What’s more, there’s stuff going on all the way through the remainder of October and on into November. So for now, at least, you shouldn’t ever find yourself floundering for something to do.

Quex Trick Or Treat Trail
Quex’s popular trick or treat trail returning for another year. Children can enjoy a spooky time in the woods, pumpkin picking, a ride aboard the Slime Blaster Express and sweat treats.

Betteshanger Halloween Trail
Betteshanger Country Park is running this fun Halloween trail through the woods, with riddles to solve and surprises to spot as you go. Everyone gets a treat at the end. Head down on November 1 and you’ll also be able to join a free Halloween fun day with activities and disco. . 
Until November 2 from 11am to 4.30pm. Betteshanger Country Park, Sandwich Road, Deal, CT14 0BF. £12 per child

Margate Old Town Halloween Trail
Always a Halloween highlight, this trick or treat trail never fails to delight children. Businesses across Margate Old Town, High Street and Marine Drive hand out sweets and other treats for a couple of hours, before the afternoon is rounded off with a parade of dogs in fancy dress. Wristbands can be purchased from Aarven on King Street. 
Saturday, October 25 from 2pm to 4pm. Margate Old Town. £4 per child.

Quex Halloween Fest
One for older children, aged 11+, this evening event features two scare mazes, tomahawk throwing, a light show, a disco, pumpkin picking, marshmallow toasting and more.

Halloween at Ellington Park
Ellington Park has two Halloween events laid on. On the 30th there’s an after school mask-making workshop. Then on the 31st there’s a Halloween party, with a spooky trail around the park, a fancy dress competition, food and music.
Thursday, October 30 from 3.30pm to 5.30pm and Friday, October 31 from 6pm. Ellington Park Community Cafe, Park Road, Ramsgate, CT11 9TL. Free entry. 

High Tide Social Halloween Party
Back for a second year, High Tide Social is putting on a Halloween party full of activities for kids. There will be face painting, cake decorating, lucky dip and more, plus food and (for the adults) cocktails and draft beer.

Children’s parties at Pierremont Hall
Pierremont Hall in Broadstairs has two Halloween parties for kids of different ages. Kids aged 5-12 can enjoy music, games, prizes and snacks until 6pm, before a part for 13-17 offering dancing and mocktails in the early evening.

Halloween Party at the Old Curiosity Shop
The Old Curiosity Shop will be putting on an afternoon of crafting, games and cookie decorating. There will be prizes for anyone who comes in fancy dress, and the full food menu will be on offer too.

Trick 4 Treat at Revolution Skate Park
You have to work for your treats at Rev’s Halloween party, with prizes given out for the best tricks out on the ramps. There will also be a prize for the best fancy dress, and a trick or treat trail. 
Friday, October 31 from 7pm to 10pm. Revolution Skate Park, Oakwood Industrial Estate, Dane Valley Road, Broadstairs, CT10 3JJ. Tickets £10. 

Kids Halloween Party at Ramsgate Arts Club
Ramsgate Arts Club has two Halloween parties for grown ups over the weekend, but they’ve not forgotten about the kids, who will be allowed to run amok through the new venue on Saturday afternoon. 
Saturday, November 1 from 1pm to 4pm. Ramsgate Arts Club, Old Wine Warehouse, Charlotte Court, Ramsgate, CT11 8HE. Free entry.

Discovery Planet Spooky Science 
Discovery Planet will be making a welcome return with a spooky science event. Taking place at Ramsgate Space, the free drop-in session will have six stalls showcasing Halloween-themed science experiments. Looping the Loop will also be putting on some outdoor theatre and there will be lighting installations from Light Up Ramsgate.

Quex Park Fireworks
Quex Park’s massive fireworks show arrives a little ahead of this year’s Bonfire Night, taking place over the Halloween weekend instead. There will be two fireworks displays set to music, a fun fair, food and drink, a huge bonfire and more.

Dia de los Muertos at Where Else
Disco Psicodélico is putting on this family-friendly afternoon party to close out the Halloween weekend. There will be Latin music, pinãta, children’s book readings, arts and crafts, plus Mexican food provided by The Perfect Place to Grow.
