A new immersive Moomin installation opens on London’s Southbank on Tuesday until June 1, including a recreation of the Moominhouse on the Riverside Terrace. Full details.

The Happy Reading Bookshop in Broadstairs hosts a morning of activities based on Rosie Revere, Engineer on Wednesday morning - one of a number of activities happening throughout half term. Tickets £5.
Margate Pride hosts two puppet-making workshops at Olby’s in Margate on Wednesday. The morning session runs from 10am-12pm while the afternoon workshop is 1-3pm.
Writer Adam Weymouth launches his new book Lone Wolf at Faith in Strangers on Wednesday. The book tracks the path of a wolf 1000 miles across the Alps, on the way learning about the lives and opinions of people living along the route. Tickets £5 (donated to Kent Wildlife Trust).
Margate Assembly returns to Off Licence on Wednesday. On this edition’s bill, Sarah Daly, Andrea Kempson, Rosie Taylor and Easyclear. £7 suggested donation.
