Little Angel Theatre in London’s Children's Puppet Festival is back for its fourth year on Monday until August 29. Full details.

This year’s Broadstairs Water Gala will take place on Wednesday with a day of free activities on the beach and along Victoria Gardens. It will finish with live music and a fireworks display. Full details.
Margate Pride hosts family-friendly puppet-making workshops at Turner Contemporary Wednesday. Sessions are free, drop in on at 10am-12.30pm and 1pm-4pm.

A new exhibition telling the story of Margate’s sewage problem from the perspective of E. Coli launches at the Crab Museum on Friday with a night of entertainment headlined by comedian Alex Franklin. Tickets £12.
