Margate's community spirit has come out in fold these last couple of weeks, which has been an utter delight.
It's been a buzz to see so many people speak passionately about positive change and the town's diverse knit of people come out in force to rally against hate and prejudice - and not just from the Greens.
With the Cliftonville by-election now done and dusted, much of Margate is celebrating a liberal win, basking in the communal effort that defeated a Reform reelection.
So wallow in this moment of optimism. Savour a sunset, perhaps even with a drink in hand.
