Well, look at that, the sun arrived just in time for the bank holiday weekend. About time! And there's so much to get out and do, as well.
Not that we haven't been getting out already. We’ve had a busy week with Ellington Park May Fayre, a screening of My Neighbour Totoro at Ramsgate Arts Club, Chump’s third birthday at Where Else and the launch of the Social Singing Choir’s new charity single Wash Over Me at the Drill Shed.
Somewhere among all that, we also got an early preview of the new Turner Contemporary exhibition, Hulda Guzmán's Please awake - asked Nature kindly. Find out exactly what we thought about it here. Spoiler: loved it.
But now, it's time for this week's newsletter, which includes a feature on the fascinating history of Operation Dynamo as Ramsgate celebrates the civilian WWII rescue mission's 86th anniversary with four days of free events.
