**Ellington Park has received a Green Flag Award** for the fifth consecutive year. "This recognition is a direct result of the incredible hard work and dedication of our council teams, volunteers, and the Friends of Ellington Park," says Cllr Steve Albon of Thanet District Council. "This park is the heart of the Ramsgate community, and we are proud to maintain it as a beautiful, safe, and historic space for everyone to enjoy." The park also received **Green Heritage Site Accreditation** in recognition of the preservation of its historic features.

Following a successful run of shows since officially opening in March, **Cliftonville venue The Drill Shed is to undergo improvement works** ready for its autumn programme. “We want the people that enjoy the space to get the best from the space,” says owner Eli Thompson. “With that in mind, we’re going to spend more money. We’re going to do some internal works to the building to ensure that when you visit it again, no one is complaining about the sound, neither residents or \[customers\].”
